Hungarian Labour Merit Medal 1954 type

It is a very early issue with same year award certificate to a famous Hungarian writer and dramaturge (playwright). The full size medal comes with the original early case of issue, a ribbon bar and a small award certificate booklet all in excellent condition.

Istvan Forgach (born in Szeged 1905) was a famous Hungarian writer and worked as the playwright of the Hungarian National Theatre between 1950-75. A copy of his public records belongs to the lot.

The lot includes the full size medal, the corresponding ribbon bar and early award case and a small award certificate booklet. All have the 1949 coat of arm displayed.

Unique group to a non-commissioned officer...

Beautifully preserved, clean large award cerrificate and small certificate plus full set of the 1954M Order of Distinguished Service (1949 coat of arm) issued to Major Lajos BERÉNYI of the Hungarian Peoples Army. It was awarded April 4. 1955 which was the 10th anniversary of the Liberation/Soviet Occupation of Hungary at the end of ww2.

Rare in such a complete set! Please note this is not the abundant M1957 type of this medal!

Interesting medal lot of Mr János Gaál, a long time Miner and Firefighter. 
he was awarded the very rare highest grade Miners medal in Diamond.

It was awarded in 1985 and he had a long and distinguished carrier from the early 1960s. Most of the times he worked in the Mecsek mines in Baranya county. He was also in the Mine Firefighting detachement.

Exceptionally rare combination as Mrs Tivadar Sandor received the Golden class of the Public Security Medal as a Police agent from the communist government in March 1956 (a copy of the "TOP SECRET" award documents is provided) and in October 1956 she joined the Hungarian Freedom Fighters and fought against the Soviet troops and their puppet government. She survived the aftermath started a scientific career, by 1987 she became a director of the National Geographic Institute and was awarded the 1956 Commemorative Medal in 1991 by the new democratic government.
