Beautifully preserved, clean large award cerrificate and small certificate plus full set of the 1954M Order of Distinguished Service (1949 coat of arm) issued to Major Lajos BERÉNYI of the Hungarian Peoples Army. It was awarded April 4. 1955 which was the 10th anniversary of the Liberation/Soviet Occupation of Hungary at the end of ww2.

A pristine condition, very early Stakhanovite medal, cased with miniature and corresponding award certificate booklet issued to Mr Gabor Biro in 1954.
Reverse of the medal is engraved 146 (!) which is a super low number, additionally the booklet also displays the same serial number!
The Stakhanovite movement was a Soviet campaign that encouraged workers to dramatically exceed production quotas. It became one of the best-known labor movements in the communist world and was later adopted by other Eastern Bloc countries, including Hungary.

It was awarded in 1985 and he had a long and distinguished carrier from the early 1960s. Most of the times he worked in the Mecsek mines in Baranya county. He was also in the Mine Firefighting detachement.

Exceptionally rare combination as Mrs Tivadar Sandor received the Golden class of the Public Security Medal as a Police agent from the communist government in March 1956 (a copy of the "TOP SECRET" award documents is provided) and in October 1956 she joined the Hungarian Freedom Fighters and fought against the Soviet troops and their puppet government. She survived the aftermath started a scientific career, by 1987 she became a director of the National Geographic Institute and was awarded the 1956 Commemorative Medal in 1991 by the new democratic government.
