Hungarian Order of Excellent Service Medal Set cc1980 - 140x85mm

Beautifully preserved, clean large award cerrificate and small certificate plus full set of the 1954M Order of Distinguished Service (1949 coat of arm) issued to Major Lajos BERÉNYI of the Hungarian Peoples Army. It was awarded April 4. 1955 which was the 10th anniversary of the Liberation/Soviet Occupation of Hungary at the end of ww2.

Rare in such a complete set! Please note this is not the abundant M1957 type of this medal!

1982 Hungarian cased Excellent Work Medal with Award certificate. The medal has a "Medical decice on the ribbon, indicating Ministry of Health award. Original signature of Mr. Emil Schulteisz minister of Health (1923-2014).

Order of “4th of April” with an extensive personal lot awarded to Mr. László ORVOS NAGY, Hungarian Socialist Party functionary and Head of the Industrial Cooperative of the city of Karcag (East Hungary).

This amazing lot includes:

1. Order of 4th April in pristine condition & miniature & award case
2. Large award certificate and small wearing permit with usual sticky award folder
3. Original official photograph after the award ceremony showing Mr Orvos Nagy in the middle with his new medal and other awardees. (Order of Work Golden and Silver classes on the ladies)

6. Congratulating Letter for the award from the Deputy Prime Minister of Hungary, Mr Lajos CZINEGE (original signature!!!) + postal envelope. He was also the longest serving Hungarian Minister of Defence (1960-84) and a former Party Secretary of Karcag

A pristine condition, very early Stakhanovite medal, cased with miniature and corresponding award certificate booklet issued to Mr Gabor Biro in 1954.

Reverse of the medal is engraved 146 (!) which is a super low number, additionally the booklet also displays the same serial number!

The Stakhanovite movement was a Soviet campaign that encouraged workers to dramatically exceed production quotas. It became one of the best-known labor movements in the communist world and was later adopted by other Eastern Bloc countries, including Hungary.

The Stakhanovite Award in Hungary

Hungary adopted the movement after World War II, particularly during the early 1950s under the Stalinist government of Mátyás Rákosi.

The Sztahanovista Kitüntetés (Stakhanovite Award) was presented to workers who:

• Significantly exceeded production quotas.
• Introduced improvements that increased productivity.
• Maintained outstanding work performance over time.
• Served as exemplary socialist workers.

Recipients often also received:

• A decorated badge or medal.
• An official certificate (Igazolvány).
• Cash awards or bonuses.
• Public recognition in newspapers and workplace ceremonies.

Golden, Silver and Bronze classes of the infamous AVH (Hungarian State Security Organization in the 1950s) State Security Service Medals.

Later (post 1956) they were awarded by the Ministry of Interior Internal Security Forces (Karhatalom) as Public Security Medals.
